Nike creates the SNKRS app for "sneaker freaks"

Nike has joined to the fever of "Tinder like aps", to promote its sales, and created a great app with a few useful things about the brand, like notify alarms, and the story about how the selected model was created.

Sneaker freaks, your newest pair of Nikes are just a couple clicks away, thanks to the brand’s SNKRS app. Available to a select audience earlier this year, Nike just made it downloadable for the general public.

It allows you to follow your favorite sneaker lines and receive alerts when new designs drop. When a coveted pair is available, the app will notify you and allow you to purchase on the spot, so no waiting in line will be necessary. It saves your shoe size and payment info so checkout is as streamlined as possible.

In addition to the alerts, the app allows users to dive deep into the various shoe lines, including their histories and how they’re made. The app is available for iOS and can be downloaded on the Nike site.
