Hindustan Unilever launched a marketing campaign for the Lifebuoy soap brand during the Kumbh Mela festival and pilgrimage.
HUL and advertising agency Ogilvy partnered with more than 100 dhabas and hotels at the pilgrimage site to distribute roti bread that are stamped with “Lifebuoy se haath dhyoe kya?” or “Have you washed your hand with Lifebuoy?”.
Started on February 1, 2013, and scheduled to run for 30 days, the campaign will include 2.5 million rotis with the hand-wash reminder.
