German company tests edible coffee cup

Ever thought of being able to take a coffee in edible cup? Customers of Germany’s KFC restaurants will soon be able to experience this new idea.

After taking the coffee, you can eat the cup, which is made from a sugar wafer coated paper and covered with a white chocolate heat resistant. The chocolate was made to melt and dissolve the crispy wafer edible cup.

Shilpa Rosenberry, global strategy director of Daymon Worldwide consumer, reported: “The edible cup is aligned with the new mentality of global consumption in terms of sustainability and simplification of life.”

“Besides offering an incredible flavor, the cups also have a delicious smell and are designed to evoke memories of the warm weather, sun and summer vacation.” Says Brandy Wright, the company designer Robin Collective, responsible for working the product, entitled Scoff-ee Cup.

KFC company is still testing the new packaging and the result is positive you can launch it in the market.
