NewStyle Shines at the Globes World's Final

More than 130 judges from 15 countries, that represented agencies, clients, academy, media and industry associations, carefully reviewed 300 campaign entries from 25 countries.

The MAA announced Monday last night (15/10) during the World Conference at Hyatt of Chicago, in United States, the winners of the Globes 2012. More than 130 judges from 15 countries, that represented agencies, clients, academy, media and industry associations, carefully reviewed 300 campaign entries from 25 countries.

The Grand Prix of the year went to “Small Business Saturday”, Digitas and CP campaign for American Express, that had already triumphed in Cannes.

The brazilian highlight was for NewStyle, who won in two categories with “It’s Smooth” for Gillete, developed during the Bahian carnival.

In the category of best sponsorship activation, totally dominated by brazilian agencies, NewStyle shone, winning gold and becoming the most awarded agency in this edition.

B!Ferraz also won Gold with “Tic Tac Cinnamon”. Completing the great performance of Group ABC’s promo agencies, Tudo agency got Bronze with “180º RFID Experience” for Itaú. And the Rio 360° of Holding Club took Silver for “Bloco Azul” for TIM. The bahian Marcativa was the only independent awarded brazilian and did well: got Silver with “Toll free with Pepsi”.

“Once again we had high quality entries, closing another great year for our industry in general and in particular for clients and agencies that presented great campaigns”, related  Garo Keresteci, MAA’s vice-president and president of the Globes jury’s.
