Heineken presents its first interactive bottle

The bottle is also able to light up in time to music, actively responding to specific audio and data cues.

Heineken has created the ‘Heineken Ingnite’, its first interactive beer bottle. Armed with an array of micro sensors, wireless networking technology, and LEDs, the bottle is able to sense the moment it is being used to say ‘Cheers’ and light up.

The bottle is also able to light up in time to music, actively responding to specific audio and data cues.

Developed by digital agency Tribal DDB Amsterdam, the interactive bottle enhances “the organic way in which the product is used based on social interaction between beer drinkers. This innovative approach lets people be a part of the party in a whole new way and opens up possibilities in social situations”.
