The vending machines have become powerful tools in promotional marketing. A good example was the brand Candy Kitten, taking advantage of Halloween to scare a few people in London.

It's strategy was to put a vending machine in a busy street so it was seen by many people with a free candy signal, which contributed further to draw the attention of passersby.
