On February 21, FIFA announced that a total of 473.076 tickets were destined to the fans in the second draw; this number includes every match but the competition´s opening and final games.
As previously stated, Brazilians lead the demand, being responsible for buying 60% of the tickets in the second selling phase. There has been a virtual lottery supervised by the representatives of Caixa Economica Federal and the Sports Ministry.

At Fifa.com, including portions destined to the participating countries, 1.5 million tickets have already gone to the fans, 57% o those being acquired by brazilians and 43% by citizens of other countries.
Considering all of the avaiable sales channels, which includes the hospitality program and other groups for which FIFA sells games, 2.3 million tickets have already been allocated.
Until March 11, people who got ticket reservations will be informed, via e-mail or sms, if their requests have been partially or fully fulfilled. According to FIFA, nearly ten million tickets were requested by fans from the 228 countries and territories.
Around 160,000 tickets remain, and they will be available to the public from March 12 until April 01. In this case, there will also be restrictions: there are no tickets for the opening or final, and for matches between Italy and England, USA and Portugal (both in Manaus), and for the quarter-final in Porto Alegre and Sao Paulo and the semifinal in Belo Horizonte. For this last group, sales will be made directly, without electronic raffle.
