Meet the company behind Brazil World Cup scenery

The largest factory of scenarios for live marketing in Brazil was chosen by the agency Spirit to produce the set design of the opening and closing events of Fifa World Cup 2014.

After an extremely busy year in 2013, with hundreds of scenarios created for promotional stunts, settings for POS stands and production of spaces for huge events, like Rock in Rio and the World Youth Day, M|Checon scenery begins 2014 with its whole team ready to the biggest sporting event in the world.

The largest factory of scenarios for live marketing in Brazil was chosen by the agency Spirit to produce the set design of the opening and closing events of FIFA World Cup 2014.

“This is a special production. We are very used to live events, but it goes further: millions will be watching on TV, so details must receive double care. Deadlines and quality are crucial. We’ve chosen M |Checon due to their attention to detail and unbeatable work, along with the structure of people and equipements we need”, states Alan Spirit, director of Spirit Agency.

“We are happy for being chosen by Spirit. Our team is versatile learning quickly and acting fast and timely. It does not matter if is a rock concert, and since 2010 we are responsible for the scenery of Rock in Rio, religious events or the World Cup. I believe in the success of this project because of the team of stars we have at group M | Checon” adds Marcelo Checon, not hiding his pride in performing this job.

“The function of our companies in this event consists in assembling structures around the stadiums, internal spaces and lawn, from a project already developed. M | Checon São Paulo will look after the opening at Itaquerão stadium and M | Checon Rio de Janeiro will be responsible for Maracanã on the closing event. Production, however, will involve other group companies like Santa Luzia, Localitá, NCA and Plataforms”, revealed Marcelo Checon in a statement to the promotional market.
