Most of girls always wanted to have a giant house of Barbie. They can visit now, in Berlin. The Barbie House spreads over 1,400 square metres and even includes a giant pink high heeled water feature in the front driveway.
Guest to the house can explore Barbie’s kitchen and living room as well as take a peek in her wardrobe and even try on a few clothes. The inside of the house is predictably painted in bright fuchsia and candy pink with plenty of Barbie dolls adorning the place.
Despite it, the beautiful house was not good enough for some people. Feminist protesters burned a doll on a cross and left-wing demonstrators shouted “pink stinks”.
Security guards swiftly ejected the protesters from the site, which is tucked away behind socialist high rises, railroad tracks and a shopping center near the city’s gritty Alexanderplatz.
