Seminar will discuss security in Brazil this February

The seminar will take place in Brasília, on February 4 a 5, bringing together authorities from various parts of the country to discuss security projects as well as the threats that will be faced, such as public demonstrations, violent fans, organized crime and terrorist threats.

Suntech, technology provider headquartered in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina state, will promote a seminar on Strategies of Defense, Security and Intelligence for Major Events. The event is dedicated exclusively to the authorities and representatives of security agencies and intelligence throughout Brazil, aiming the World Cup 2014 and the Olympics of 2016.

The seminar will take place in Brasília, on February 4 a 5, bringing together authorities from various parts of the country to discuss security projects as well as the threats that will be faced, such as public demonstrations, violent fans, organized crime and terrorist threats.

The seminar schedule features a guest lecture on crisis management given by Diogenes Viegas Dalle Luccas, better known as Captain Lucca , who served for eleven years in the group of military police tactical actions (GATE) and is known to have ever lost a hostage in operations he had led.

Among the most famous cases is the captain negotiation held in the kidnap of TV presenter Silvio Santos. Lucca is also recognized for having never lost a hostage negotiation with kidnappers.

Also on the agenda are talks with representatives of the Special Secretariat for Large Events Security (Sesge), National Department of Public Safety (Senasp) and the Brazilian Army.

Another highlight of the event will be trainings on Advanced Analysis of Legal Traps and Basic Methodology for Monitoring Open Sources to give a broaden view of tools and safety strategies.
